In addition to Springbank High School and the community centre in the middle of the district, Springbank has a restored United Church. This heritage building is next door to the Springbank Airport on the north side of the Trans-Canada Highway which intersects the district. The Edge School for Athletes, a private school, is also located in this commercial area. Calaway Park, a seasonal amusement park and camp ground, along with other commercial buildings, is situated on the south side of the highway.
